Teens ages 12-18! Make Giant Parade Puppets with Heart of the Beast Theatre for Raspberry Festival
Dates: June 28, July 1, 6, 8, 12, 15

Location: Katherine Curren School (Ubah Academy), 1600 Mainstreet, Hopkins
Cost: FREE!
Teen ages 12-18, join the Depot Coffee House youth volunteers, neighbors, and friends to create amazing parade puppets. Resident artists from In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre will teach a series of hands-on workshops leading up to the Hopkins Raspberry Festival Grade Day Parade on July 18. Learn how to create and manipulate the wondrous oversized puppets that have become cherished favorites in Minneapolis' May Day Parade. Pre-registration is required and participants are encouraged to attend a minimum of 4 sessions. Parade participation is encouraged but not required.

This is a collaboration between The Depot Coffee House, Hopkins Public Schools, Hopkins-Minnetonka Recreation Services. This community arts residency is funded by the Minnesota Regional Arts Council and The Depot Coffee House Youth Engagement Project.
