March 15 was a wonderful day with all ages coming together at the Hopkins Center for the Arts event to ensure that no one's bowl is empty in our community.
Last year's recipe for filling Empty Bowls in Our Community:
276 SUPERVALU Challenge & In-kind sponsors
1025 Bowls donated by local students & potters
195 Volunteers worked at the event
467 Entertainers of all ages performed
71 Fine Art Bowls sold in the silent auction
1425 Guests were served soup and bread
Mix well together and the yield will be $89,622 to support the work of ICA Food
Shelf and ResourceWest
including the $75,090 Challenge to the Community Fund sponsored by SUPERVALU
and CHOICES FOR CHILDREN and 220 business, congregation, school, and community
leaders.
Total raised in Our Community since 1999 - $618,910!
