KinderConnection is an extended kindergarten experience with academic learning and one-on-one attention. Your child attends half-day kindergarten and spends the rest of the school day in KinderConnection. This fee-based program offers choices that fit your family's needs - you can choose three, four, or five day options.

Your child's daily experience

Your child will spend two-and-a-half hours each day in kindergarten and four hours in KinderConnection. KinderConnection is part of your child's school, so mid-day transportation is not necessary.

What will your child learn?

Built upon the Hopkins' curriculum, KinderConnection reinforces the concepts, behaviors, and attitudes introduced in the kindergarten classroom. Experiences include:

• Varied learning centers (reading, writing, science, math, computers and dramatic play).
• In-depth explorations of ideas and materials.
• Multiple ways to express ideas.
• Opportunities to imagine, construct, dialogue, socialize, investigate, and experiment.

Extend the day with Kids & Company

KinderConnection is seamlessly integrated with before- and after-school child care through Kids & Company. Kids & Company is Hopkins Public Schools' nationally accredited extended-day program and is open is open Monday through Friday, 6:45 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
