We provide one of the most extensive music programs in Minnesota:
- Orchestra and band are offered at each elementary school beginning in 5th grade.
- Beginning in 7th grade, students can choose to participate in band, orchestra, or choir.
- At the high school level, students may participate in band, orchestra, choir, and specialized ensembles. High school students also may choose to study harmony, music appreciation, guitar, and music theory. Our high school music education program includes five bands (including jazz), six choirs (including Chamber), three orchestras (including Chamber), and five other music courses. Other opportunities include the Lean Mean Performance Machine, and GarageBand.
